Purpose:

Refrigerating body – is a closed insulated body, that is designed for transporting refrigerated goods, in guaranteed stable interior the temperature is below zero, or other required temperature.

INSULATION PRAMETERS:

Heat transmission coefficient – aluminium coating (tests carried out on a body sized 6320 x 2440 x 2100 mm with 60 mm thick walls and 115 mm thick floor):

  • for the walls – 0.40 W/m2K
  • for the floor - 0.55 W/m2K

DESCRIPTION OF A STANDARD ALUMINIUM BODY CONSTRUCTION:

  • Floor – flat, insulated – thickness of insulation from 80 up to 140 mm (depending on the type and requirements). Strong construction made of steel thin-walled sections.
  • Inside coating made of waterproof plywood covered with riffled or plain aluminium plate.
  • Bottom coating – laminate material without a gel coat. Insulation material is ecologic polyurethane foam.
  • Intermediate frame – made of steel thin-walled sections, blast cleaned and protected against corrosion with polyurethane agents (priming paint – x2 and chassis surface paint).
  • Outside and inside coating – aluminium plate, painted.
  • Insulation material (walls, roof and door) - ecologic polyurethane foam.
  • Outside fittings – aluminium sections, painted.
  • Rear and front frame – construction welded from acid-proof steel plate.
  • Inside finishing – raw aluminium angle sections.
  • Body fitting (hinges, lock, door protections) – acid-proof steel.

Equipment:

  • double rear door – opening angle of 270° and side door (right) – opening angle of 180°,
  • interior lighting controlled from the driver’s cab (2 up to 4 lamps) – depending on length of the body, hidden in the roof panel,
  • entrance ladders – under the floor: rear and side doors,
  • anti-collision barriers (against bicycles), contour lights – according to road traffic regulations.
  • Walls, roof and doors – are 3-ply construction (plate – foam – plate), characterised by high stiffness and strength, manufactured for ready body size.
  • Side walls are from 60 up to 75 mm thick, front wall and roof are from 60 up to 120 mm thick – (depending on requirements).
  • The whole construction is riveted and glued to guarantee suitable strength, stiffness and best possible conditions of insulation.

DESCRIPTION OF STANDARD LAMINATE BODY CONSTRUCTION:

  • Intermediate floor and frame – as above.
  • Outside and inside coating – laminated material, painted.
  • Insulation material (walls, roof and door) -  60, 80, 100 mm thick polystyrene.
  • Walls, roof, doors – laminar glued boards, plain on entire surface, construction of: laminate with a gel coat (outside) – polystyrene – plywood – laminate, manufactured for ready body size. The boards are characterised by high stiffness and strength. Side walls are 70 or 90 mm thick in total, front wall and roof are 70, 90, 110 mm thick – (depending on requirements).
  • Laminate bodies are characterised by very high durability and indicate lower value of heat transmission coefficient.

AGGREGATES FOR REFRIGERATED VEHICLES:

We use CARRIER and THERMO-KING aggregates. Selection of aggregate mainly depends on the capacity of refrigerated space, required temperature and length of transport. Out of different types of aggregates, the following can be chosen:
  • with singular power supply (on the road) – the aggregate can work only while the engine is running,
  • with double power supply (on the road + network) – the aggregate can work while the engine is running and the load can be refrigerated on parking, supplying the aggregate from 220V electrical network,
  • powered by its own combustion engine – the work of the aggregate is independent of the work of the vehicle’s engine.

OPTIONAL AND ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT:

  • leak-proof anti-slip floor – made of polyurethane material of high abrasion resistance,
  • interior equipment – according to the customer's requests
  • loading platform.
